8 BALL 8 Ball is a game that uses 15 colored balls numbered 1 through 15 and a cue ball. There are two types of colored balls, solids or stripes. The solids are numbered 1-7, while the stripes are 8-15. One player tries to pocket the solids, while the other person must pocket the stripes. The first one to complete this task and then successfully pocket the 8 ball wins the game.
9 BALL 9 Ball is a game that uses only balls 1 through 9. The object of the game is to be the first player to pocket the 9 balls. However the balls must be pocketed consecutively going in order, (1-9). There is also a shortcut, by completing a combination shot and pocketing the 9 ball.
Straight Pool Straight pool is a very basic pool game using all balls 1-15. The object of the game is very simple, pocket as many balls as possible. Normally people will play up to 50 or 100, and the first to pocket that many balls wins the game. |
